There was a thread about antenna modeling programs on the forum a while back. I think I've tried several of the newer ones, but my favorite was 'NEC4WIN95', which I can't access with this computer (different drive, different cable connections, yada, yada, too cheap to get an adapter.)
Gave up on it finally. Then tried to find a copy on the internet somewhere. No luck with that either. Then got a wild hair, decided to email the company that sold it originally (20 years ago?).
@#$! Got an answer from them, they are still in business! Asked for a copy since I couldn't get the 'other' one to work. Was requested to send call sign, the email address used for the original purchase. Did. Oops! Present email addy not the same as 20 years ago! Oh SH**!, wat was that old addy?? Send up-dated/out-dated email addy.
Guess what I got this morning!
It works under 'Vista'!

It isn't as 'complete' as the newer programs, doesn't tell you the same information in the same way. But it does what I want/expect the thing to do. What it doesn't give, I can figure out. About the least complicated program like this that I've ever seen.
The company is still in business, just doesn't do antenna modeling programs any more. They really do keep records 20 years old, which is amazing all by it's self.
