Antron 99 Freq Range?

I use a I-Max 2000 to monitor all HF freq.s 1.8-29.9. It's not "the best" but works well. As far as SWR's, You won't have ANY reflected watts when receiving unless the antenna falls against a power line or gets hit by lightning.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

Hello World,

I wondered what freq range to expect with an Antron 99. I read the specs and can't find anything that will confirm this for me. Can I expect a good match from 25. 605 - 28.315? By good I mean less than 1.5:1. (Less would be better!) Are they still that broad banded? Or am I hoping for way too much? I don't key up on the higher or lowest freq's but I do want a good match when I monitor them.

Antenna will be 30 ft to it's base with nothing closer than a tree 40 ft away. I had one year's ago and don't recall if it matched up over those freq's or not.

Thanks,

Cheezzy
