I was just curious if any of you had any of these inteligent creatures as I own a few I have a Congo African Grey that is smarter than all get out a Timneh Grey a Blue and Gold Macaw and 2 Cockatiels

Tony. I had an african grey for ten years and you are right about intelligent creatures. Raised cockatiels for about four years. Had a friend with a pet store that had a Scarlet Macaw and when you would get close to him he would say "I bite" get closer and "I bite hard" the bird would not bite but this sure kept customers from wanting to touch. They do take lots of work and you must keep everything clean, birds will die quickly in a dirty enviroment. Nothing like watching baby birds impale themselves on that eyedropper and seeing that crop grow. Have not had any birds for about ten years now.

My birds are part of the family like kids along with my kids I also have a large african spur thigh Tortoise and an Asian Water Monitor which is the 2nd largest lizzard in the world 1rst is the Komodo Dragon which are extremely large. The Asian bWater Monitor Lizzard comes from pretty much the same islands and or general area that the Komodo Dragons come from and also are meat eaters mine eats just about anything. Mine was not even a foot when I bought her she is now 4 foot and will reach 7-9 foot I have pics if anyone is curious what the water monitor looks like. I need to learn how to post pics here Ive never posted pics on any sites. I can send a pic of mine and one of how large they get.

I use to have alot of snakes I raised Boas and Burmese Pythons it all ended after several long years when my kids unplugged an incubator that I had $6,500 worth of burmese python eggs in. I had bred a patternless green burmese to a Labyrinth Burmese Python which produces Leoperd and Het for leopard pattern that was a waste of alot of money thats when I said thats it. It was a bad year for me but that was the icing on the cake

my sister has a sun conyer . that frackin peice of crap is a non stop screech box !!! i wont even go visit her now . ill invite her over and meet her at other families places and such , but that bird just screeches and screeches if she steps out of site or isnt paying attention to it . its like nails on a chalk board to me . she sayes hes not like that when other people arnt around......but......she has a big jar of disposable ear plugs next to her bed  .
