Anyone have a Connex CX 3300HP 10 Meter

I have it's little brother, the CX-3300.

Are you interested in how Betty's knobs feel?

Depends on who you ask, if it's a good radio or not...it's known to be a loud radio, but some believe a cheaply built radio. Matter of opinion I suppose.

How the knobs feel? If your talking about the old school dual 1969 final Connex radio they feel like every other Export radio of that era. How are they supposed to feel?

Thinking about adding an RFX-75 to mine. Unless there's more to it than just soldering it in and paying someone to tune it up.

This is a video of a full RFX-75 install on a cobra 29LX ....I know it is not a Connex but it will give you a Idea of about what it takes.
As the connex is a AM radio only it will probably be close.
The instructions can be found on Bennies site, CBTricks.com

Good video there Jeff, you for sure have to know what your doing and have the right equipment. When the RFX-75 first came out there were all kinds of butchered radio's for sale on E-Bay as fix or repair from failed attempts.

I know it sounds like a broken record, but I will say it again. There is a reason shops like DTB Radio, Bob's cb, and Custom cb Radio are backed up 3-8 weeks in repair and mod work. You don't just slap an RFX-75 on there and tada, all done.

NOTE: All you youngsters that don't know what a record is just skip over that part.
