I'm sitting here looking at a great old AEA DSP-2232 HF/VHF TNC that I haven't used in a couple of years. This TNC was one of the few that had on-board DSP, before most transceivers did. It can be used as an APRS digipeater, or with Pactor 1 for winlink, or ??? I'm just not using it anymore and am thinking about bartering it for something else. When I bought it used a few years ago, they went for about $250, but now they're just not in demand. BUT for the hard-core APRS folks that wanted to experiment on HF, this might be good option?

Anybody have interest in something like this?

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
