I don’t use extra channels on CB or care about Skip either.I can talk all over the world on Ham Radio so I don’t have any need for it on the CB where I just talk local if possible.I agree FM is worthless unless you’re a ham and want to play around with a little 10 meter simplex, but that’s a rare choice at best. Being able to go below channel 1 on AM is a totally different story. When the skip is in you will be able to listen in on many groups using those lower frequencies to avoid all the hash and trash that's on regular channels. If you so dare, those stations down below are also easy to work barefoot. You will have little to no competition with other stations overriding your signal like you have on the regular channels.
