Anyone work North Korea....

Well just curious. I know any operation from there is few and far between. I last worked them in 89. ARRL didn't add them to the DXCC list for a few years after that.
IIRC, The Friends of Liberty were the last to leave.
Anyway, my dad had a rare lucid event today and we were discussing it, amongst a few other things.

No one is in North Korea to work.......Legally anyway. Their Govt has made it illegal for anyone to own or use a radio. Yet DXCC refuses to take them away as an entity. I know many hams who need just NK to get worked all entities and they will never get their because of it.
Agreed here also... worked many South stations and all have said NO NORTH RADIOS ALLOWED

I already worked them, but my contact is before they were recognized by ARRL. Even if I heard a station calling, I'd be suspect.
