Anytone 6666 and Lincolin 2. Whic would be better

Lincoln II over the Anytone - just better build quality, even in the plastic on the front. They both are good radios but 10 years from know I'd bet the Lincoln will still be working and the Anytone will be in the trash based on the quality.

Stryker works fine but definitely isn't a nice compact radio like the Lincoln and I like the frequency adjustment way better on the Lincoln for freeband and 10 meter.
Well all three radio's are made by the same factory in China. The Lincoln and the AT-6666 have almost identical boards so they are in the same family. That said the AT6666 is a more refined design as the latest ones havvaladation feede 10-12m and built in CTCSS tones and other features. In fact I think they have split function two now. I am not a fan of menu driven user interfaces and crappy control logic. That said the Stryker 955 is the worst user interface and front face plate I have ever seen on a SSB radio designed for mobile use. It is only 1/3 the radio it could be and is way over priced for all the terrible design elements it has. It was not designed by "Stryker" it is an off the shelf Chinese design that was tweaked for Stryker like all of the products it sells. I do not think Stryker has a single product they sell that is their own intellectual property. That is why the design of the front end under the hood is constantly changing. I do not mean the rf front end either I mean all of the control pcb's and controllers. That is why you can not buy 2 used 955's and expect parts to interchange blindly many many redesigns. I suspect it is based on what ever cheap controllers they can get a great deal on in bulk. Keep in mind labor, engineering, energy, medical cost, red tape and taxes are all cheap in China so redesigns to save money are common. Also they do not validate product designs like we used too when things were built in the USA every time a major design change is made. The end user is the validation and the distributors are the quality control and validation feedback loop.
