Might be a little early to tell but after trying out my new 6666 Pro this morning I am less than impressed with that little mic hole in the mic. I had to turn up my power level up to 14 which my meter says is 4 watts to make my meter swing to where it does with other radios. I did cut thru the clutter on 38 lsb to Texas and got a good report but can't help but wonder what another mic might do. Has anyone modded that little mic hole or found a better performing Mic ????
