For what it's worth, I went with the elk 5L dualband they both seem pretty much the same. but i made a telescoping PVC mast for mine along with a tee section to hold the coax out when in vertical mode. Most of the time it is is horiz. with a cushcraft AR-270 on top. It's great for camping trips or hotel rooms. I (XYL) made my bag for the ants. from the leg of an old pair of jeans with a the draw cord in the hem of the leg the other end sewn up.
