Look's great, gotta few questions and would rather post here than make new thread or email mole so...

Couple Questions here....


1: according to your post Gains are: 4.6 dBd on 2m and 10.3 dBd gain on 440 Mhz. 

       So with 5w in on 2m;

Effective Radiated Power (ERP) = 11.5897    dBW = 14.42016    Watts

Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) = 13.73 dBW = 23.64906 Watts


     And with 5w in on 70cm;

Effective Radiated Power (ERP) = 17.2897 dBW = 53.57596    Watts

Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) = 19.43 dBW = 87.86458 Watts


Right? Of course many things to consider...


Has anyone thought about removing the "Purple" paint and polishing the elements?


Last: why only 150w PEP? if you remove the duplexer and run RG8 mini and ran 350w... would the antenna melt!?
