AWESOME Mic.!! I have always used a D104 on my Galaxy 88 but it finally bit the dust. I thought I'd try something diferent this time and got the 575. WOW I had many people today telling me to turn it down cause I was blowing them out of there trucks. I thought... yeah yeah,sure. Tonite I had a local base I talk to ask me what brand the new radio was and also told me to turn it down. I put mine in my truck on monday night. It took a little time to adjust. Once I got it adjusted, what a difference. It really makes it worth it , when you listen to someone's advice. And it WORKS!!! Thanks guys.

I haven't wired one up yet, but I'm gonna try a 575. i'm SURE it will really do the job once adjusted right.It will probably have to be turned WAY down,You know how loud they can be with the stock mic.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> I also hear a turner+3 desk mic is awesome on the Lincoln. I should have the Turner wired up Tuesday (it just came in this afternoon) and will let you know how I like it. Bill at Bill's 2 way recomended the 575 to be the best for the Lincoln. I put one on mine, and man what a difference. The ones I normally talk to said it made a world of difference.

I've got my tone on 4 and volume on 4. I did talk to a mobile in Calif that was running a 104 on his 2510 and it was a nice sounding mic as well.

I LOVE THAT MIC !!! Oh hell, i'm sorry, let me turn it down a little. I finally replaced the bum 1's I have been using with 575's, unbelieveable change in the 2510's audio,although I may have to disable the talkback to keep it under controll.And the 148 loves the little extra push it gets from the 575 although I had to change the setup of the sp1a to use it on the 148 after much trial and error,it's the bomb!

I had to try one. I LOVE It! It modulates me radio more than my other mikes, sounds clearer, and it has the volume control right were I need it.

The 575 rocks. I have one on my 29XLR and consistent get most excellent reports from folks I talk to going to/from work.



You won't be dissapointed with just about anything Astatic makes.

The 575 didn't agree with my EEI turbo tuned radio. Overmodulation, distorted audio, background noise, etc. I sold it to a friend and it sounds pretty good with his stock radio.

is this the same as the road devil without the noise cancelling option,need one for noisy enviroment.

Sort of... The in features the only difference between the 575 and the road devil they are the same, BUT I have found the Road Devils tend to be more Tinny sounding.
