Astatic 575M6

Sort of... The in features the only difference between the 575 and the road devil they are the same, BUT I have found the Road Devils tend to be more Tinny sounding.

the 575 is NOTHING like a road devil. its much better. its more close to a d104m6b [handheld d104] with a tone control

I know, but if he was a old timer he may have a shack full of old stuff too. I have been wanting a BUM 1 for years, can't find one any where.

I LOVE THAT MIC !!! Oh hell, i'm sorry, let me turn it down a little. I finally replaced the bum 1's I have been using with 575's, unbelieveable change in the 2510's audio, although I may have to disable the talkback to keep it under controll. And the 148 loves the little extra push it gets from the 575 although I had to change the setup of the sp1a to use it on the 148 after much trial and error,it's the bomb!

Glad you brought that up . I was really into radio's in the 70s . When I put them all in storage because I was to involved with work I forgot about them. I retired and just work when I want to . I do digital design and a few websites in my computer room and dug out several of my sealed cartons of radios all with stock microphones . I have a President hr2510 and wanted to get a power microphone . If it works well I will get another for my Uniden pc122xl Thanks

I have a 575 M6 that I use with a Uniden PC122XL. The other day I had a guy on 38 LSB who lives 10 miles from me, say I was loud and it was like yelling in his ear.
