Found 2 of them still in the box. Its a dipole that mounts on the side of the tower. Looks like one element off a Moonraker. Anyone ever use one. Trying to get by with one tower and mounting one of these on the side for local and hearing were the skip is coming from. Think I will be putting a Maco HV-105 on top. It does not have a power rating on box. I would like to know how many watts it will handle. Thanks in advance!

The good ol' Ramrod Antenna!

The limiting power factor on this antenna is the feedline. It can handle a kilowatt easy, but I'd want to get rid of the screws that hold the elements together in favor of hose clamps or pop-rivets.

The elements are of small diameter so the bandwidth of the antenna is limited, although you can tune it to your desired frequency easily!

If you would like to sell them, let me know.

Used to be one on top of a house a few towns over. Wish I would have snapped it up when they tore down the house.
