My small arsenal of Kalashnikov autos.
The large black has a custom birth stone (June) inlay on the push button, also added 20% stronger coil spring for very a snappier harder swing (modified my self). The smaller kalash and green kalash are my EDC knives. While the black custom sits in the safe with my glock 17.

I love autos and own many. I keep a couple good ones (Benchmade, etc.)but mostly I buy and carry nasty cheap Chinee crap - $5 to $15 at local flea markets. A lot of them are surprisingly quick with good locks. Lousy scales of course - all plastic.

I don't own any AKs but I probably should. Played with a Boker at a gunshow a little bit back and I never should have done that! Been obsessing over that now!

Calipornia allow possession? Carry? Here in KY we're allowed to carry autos with our ccdw license. In 1996 when we passed our ccdw law, I was one of the citizen lobbyists who worked on it, and since some dork ex-cop lobbied to make "throwing stars" deadly weapons, I demanded we get to carry autos. Worked. (Hope I don't get branded a klansman for this post, too!)

thems cool knives, i love knives and have many, particularly for hunting-skinning or filleting along with stones and steels for sharpening...but I also prefer to just have some cheap knives for the every day chores of cutting this rope or opening that box etc and not dulling my good skinning knives.

now that having been said i have been thinking about adding a quick opening knife to my collection!

Absolutely no. Auto knifes are illegal but i carry mine.
(i hate cali laws).

I hate benchmade and i boycott them at all costs. There way over priced and steal other company's designes. I have a large collection of balisong (collection only) chink made, usa, Mexican, few other countrys.

I really really like boker !! Wish they would send out blade replacements but its a saftely and insurance issue. My mini kalashnikov blade pretty scared.
My next purchase is some cool ka-bar chink made ots knives(out the side) and, ka-bar tanto. Would like to get the big brother kabar but due to double sided blade there illegal in GayCal.:banghead:

The only sharpening system i have is Smith's® 6" tri-hone sharpening system. Its not the greatest but works. Seen how all my blades are already razor sharp i plan on get Japanese stones and maybe those ceramic doodad sharpeners (slide the blade to sharpen).

Aw the boker minis blade isn't taking an edge very well. It's OK only cost $29 for the mini i'll just buy another one.
