There are zillions of options I'm finding. Looking for lead on a decent battery to use with my new G90. Trying to stay under $100.

I have an awesome battery charger that runs off 110 or 12 volt and charges up to 10 Amp output. I got it to charge my drone batteries when I was into that. It charges just about every chemistry out there, so the battery probably won't need to include a charger.

If you use something for portable operation, I'd be interested to see what.

I'm 100 % portable for HF, mainly SOTA. 2 different radios, 1 amp, 4 different LiPo batteries.
KX2 alone, 4 cell 2600mAh, with voltage reducer, good for 3 activations.
KX3, 4 cell 4500 LiPo, voltage reducer, sfter 4 activations I charger the battery but it was still at about 80%. Also 3 cell 4000 mAh for KX3 (10WATTS).
Lastly KX2 with 50 watt amp (30 - 40 watts), 3 cell LiPo 5000 mAh. Good for 3 activations.
Each activation about 30 minutes transmit / receive time.
Voltage reducer has a zener diode and relay that cutting out at about 14vdc.

Someone recommended a TalentCell 12v 6000mAh Lithium Ion battery pack to me on a 817/818 group. I've used it a few times with my 817, but not enough to say you ought to pull the trigger on buying it. It's worth a look though (Amazon $35)

I ordered this one last night. I thought my Turnigy Accucell 6 would charge it, but I guess it won't. I read something on the Elecraft forum where Bioenno claimed it would not. I order the battery and the charger from Gigaparts. Little more than my budget, though.

I figured this battery will be useful for other things besides portable HF. I only have limited experience with these kinds of batteries, mostly from my RC stuff. Not being able to use my Turnigy charger is a real drag. It's so tiny, runs of both AC/DC and charges just about anything. The charger for this battery looks like a laptop charger.

So, I'm almost set. Just need to figure out what type of antennas. I'm leaning towards end feds for now. Maybe something light for NVIS. Small tripod mounted vertical would be nice. Also need some sort of case.
