I miss my 1970 Ford pickup. Bought it new and kept it 14 years. Lots of metal inside the cab to mount a radio. I gutted the glove box and mounted an amp it that empty spot.

Some jerk broke in the truck and stole the radio and a flashlight. They left the amp right behind the closed glove box door.

The plastic dash and interior in my '96 Dodge has cracked and fallen off in chunks. No radio in there.

assembled in Mexico 22 years ago...

Is there some external identifier on the 980's that indicate the version that can go beepless?
