Was wondering what kind of rating the forum members in here would give Bell's CB Shop as far as their tune-up and dependability work ?
I've bought from Bell's a few times throughout the years but didn't buy any of the extras so all went well. He's been in business a long time with many fan boys so that's got to mean something. Was wondering what kind of rating the forum members in here would give Bell's CB Shop as far as their tune-up and dependability work ?
But there's one thing you will get when purchasing the peak-n-tune from there! No better or worse than any of the other online shops. They all offer a "Peak and Tune". Nothing special, just a 10 minute break 19 hotrod truck stop tune. Most have videos of their work, and they are all the same. Screaming into a noise canceling mic to make a watt meter swing doesn't impress me. I've bought from Bell's, Walcott, and others. I look for what they have in stock ready to ship unmolested.
I was looking around to buy 2 ea. President BT-Mikes so I checked their web site closer and they have a 900 number registered to a woman and not in the business name ( Fishy ) Then checked for a Better Business Bureau rating and was left Unimpressed. Might have to deal with Walcott radio again. No better or worse than any of the other online shops. They all offer a "Peak and Tune". Nothing special, just a 10 minute break 19 hotrod truck stop tune. Their prices are lower than most usually.
I've bought several items from them (George FCC, President NC mic, and BT mic) and never had an issue. I'll get the new Washington from them as well, when it's in stock. Was wondering what kind of rating the forum members in here would give Bell's CB Shop as far as their tune-up and dependability work ?
The number I see on the website is legit, I just called it to make sure. Maybe you fat fingered the phone when you dialed. 954-771-8161I was looking around to buy 2 ea. Thanks but I never tried to dial it. My suspicious mind. LOLThe number I see on the website is legit, I just called it to make sure. Maybe you fat fingered the phone when you dialed. 954-771-8161
There was a FB rumor that spread like wildfire, started about them shutting down and liquidating there inventory with pictures ripped off of there web site.I thought they sold-out and quit... MFJ-style. Obviously not.
That phone number shows up in a phone number search as registered to a woman instead of a business. She probably owns the business but further snooping around makes it appear Rinky Dink. It also had a complaint or 2 to the better business bureau, same as Walcott Radio and my personal experience. Like they say Once Burnt Twice Cautious. I have time to look around but thank everyone for their input. Let's face it Fall might be better because DX isn't what it was at the moment.954-771-8161
