best recieving 10 meter radio

I had a few of those on my bench recent years. Repair/align etc.
Ability of reading schematics, understanding them helps a lot. In most cases there is no need to buy radio to know what to expect.
It's overpriced junk so-called 10m to avoid FCC, to be sold in USA.
I do not care if you agree or not, it is my opinion.

Damn! Mike...keyboard busy tonight.

I kind of agree if you are talking about old Ten meter radios.
The Radio Shack HTX 100 was about the best I ever used.
Ten meters only.
CW and USB only.
Very tight RX
No AM
No FM
No LSB
But I doubt you will find one now days.
The Last model of the RCI2950DX that I had was not bad, but I still found myself backing off the RF gain because the RX was so hot.
The Lincoln II I bought and sent back was not good.
I have not tried the + model but I have been told it was better that the first version.
Would be great if some one had the time ( and radios) to sit down and do some testing.
The guys across the pond say the last version of the Grant II Premium with the better filter was good.

I still remember the day, walking out of the Athens, Ohio Radio Shack with one. Great radio.

I just saw a Realistic HTX-10 on QTH.com for $80 plus $20 shipping.I have owned several of them & they are very good 10 meter radios. If I were looking for just a 10 meter radio it would be my 1st choice & I have owned the Exports & a couple of 2950's & a couple of 2510's & I still like the HTX-10 the most.
