Old Ray LaHood, US Transportation Sec., says that if you don't wear your seatbelt, they " ARE COMING TO GET YOU!". There is also a commercial in IL. showing a girl getting a ticket from a smiling IL. State Trooper, for not wearing her seat belt, IN A CAR WASH!
Heck, there are spy cams on nearly EVERY corner nowadays. 1984 came just a little later than Orwell predicted, but it did come.

May be if all goes well the police won't get to use file video that is captured by nosy news teams which invade the public's privacy as much as those drones invade the public's civil rights. :pop:

I didn't watch the video but the drones have been flying in other border areas for over a year now and Cannon AFB in New Mexico now even lists their training flight paths on VFR sectionals. This is one of those does not bother me situations.

You really need to watch the video. I just did, and it is pretty ominous. They illegally threatened the reporters with FAA action. They even admitted that they will deal with invasion of privacy issues and illegal search issues later. ( after enough people complain and / or file suit!)
(Law enforcement officers are taught to lie when they can get away with it, or when it might solve a case.)

That lo power stuff wont hurt you. I run a lot of boats that have the radome right above the helm, only 2 or 3 feet away from the pilot. Of course that might explain a lot, too.

If you are not doing anything wrong, what do you care?
In my plant, the only place you are not on camera and being recorded is in the bathroom. all images are stored for 90 days then over written.
You are on camera right up to the bathroom door though. Cuts way down on bathroom goof offs, smokers and toilet nap takers.
I enjoy telling the employees that start complaining "you were informed of our Security policies when you hired in." and my favorite reply "That's why they call it WORK."

(Flame suit on)

Lol, I suppose they'll place a sign at the Tx borders stating that you're being monitored via a drone, hey someone should whisper in Arizona's ear.:pop:

We had too many guys folding the sports section and heading in for a 15 min read n relax, We installed a timer that has a micro switch on the Stall door, and a small load cell under the seat.
If you are on the seat for longer than 7 min, the toilet paper roll retracts inside the holder, the stall door opens automatically, and a Still Photo is taken of the individual that is siting on the seat.
This Photo is then posted on the Break room " wall of Shame"

It has reduced Bathroom dilly-dally almost 100%

Hep guys, Houston and its Acorn type administration is getting us setup for "The Truman Show."

There is a new scheme being used by many local governments these days that is all about increased revenues and government controls without consideration for public opinion or votes, and is basically side-stepping the need for State approval---through the use of City ordinances rather than creating laws via the State Legislature. You will find much of this going on in the poorer neighborhoods, because it is less likely there will be law suits and adverse publicity.

Example: In Houston we have intersections that have been given the title for being "intersections with the most violations." The City installs camera systems at these intersections that record all traffic light violations, video the car, driver, license plate, time and date. The City then sends tickets for all recorded violations. The proposed idea was to reduce violations and costly accidents and to change the law at these camera locations from a criminal violation to a civil violation to side-step the State Legislature, even though it violates the law and the State Constitution.

Big brother does stuff like this anyway, and is coming to your neighborhood soon---with the real version of "The Truman Show." Cities in Texas have found it almost impossible to get anything they want done, easily passed by the Legislature or the voters. The City of Houston goes before local or even out of town state Courts in the dark of night if necessary, with liberal judges, all the time just to get temporary or emergency set-a-sides from State Laws on the books---that don't suit the City's ideas for reaching in our pockets or controlling our freedoms.
