Yep, if you have neighbors with some old or even newer computer speakers, like JJD said be prepared for a knock at the door or some rude looks from the neighbors. Try a low pass filter. And adding some ferrite chokes at the feedpoint may help. As far as controlling your issue, place the ferrite choke as close the the speaker itself as possible and one on the other end as well where it plugs into the radio. Get one that you can make a few wraps onto. And keep the wraps tight. And good luck on getting it resolved. Look around the house now as you may find other issues. Just sayin.

Good place to start. But a Low pass filter doesn't clean up a dirty signal it just cuts off any harmonics over 30 mhzs. And it wont fix anything if the problem is just a strong rf field in the shack( cmc for example or antenna to close to the house, etc)

Wow you should not be bleeding in your speakers. I would fix the radio setup. look at attaching a B11 ISO from radiowavz

That is an isolation transformer.

Low pass or TVI filters will NOT cure a speaker problem. The problem is NOT harmonics. It is simply RF getting into the speaker amp via the speaker leads acting as an antenna. Clean radios can cause this problem just as well as dirty ones. The issue is not with the radio but rather with the poor quality of the speakers. Wind several turns of speaker wire thru a toroid as close to the amp as you can. that may help. RFI to computer speakers is VERY common and sometimes it takes a little know-how to fix the issue such as soldering a 0.001 microfarad capacitor across the speaker leads INSIDE the amplifier enclosure. You may need to do the same thing with the power lead for the amp.

Those amplified computer speakers are usually very poorly designed. I had a friend that was delivering a computer to a customer, the speakers were left on and he heard my whole conversation.
