Bombay (Mumbai) India, 503IR01 ???

Although I was doubtful from the beginning, one always hopes that some exotic DX connection will not end up being SPAM. If valid, you don't want to piss them off.

I think the Bombay connection was probably true, but not in the fact that he was transmitting from at that moment. He sounded Indian, had an Indian name but in the end he was just a LIAR!! Where did I get a SPAM filter for my radio?

Klondike Mike,
You can always go to the web site (IR) and just drop a note asking about the number or look on the cluster.dk/ and see if his call sign is being posted.

I did initially go to the IR website. As we both know, 503 is not a valid division number and this is just a rogue station ID.

I did not go to "cluster.dk" and am not a user there.I'll sign-up and see what I find. Thanks Larry.

cluster.dk not accepting new members. Larry, if you have time, could you do a search/send email or make a request to get me a log-in account created. Would be useful for future searches. Not important if you are not able. Thanks.
