I have a CD-44 rotor Series 3 and am confused about the windload capacity. I am planning to install in a HDBX tower inside and with a thrust bearing. However, the manual I got says it is only good for 2.5 square feet of windload. Norm's has his listed at 7.5 which would work fine as my antenna is only 6 feet of windload. Who is right?

I have the same rotator and can assure that was a misprint in the manual many years ago. As Robb said, the rotator is rated for 7.5 Sq. ft of wind loading when mounted in a tower but only 5 sq. ft. when mounted on a mast with the lower mast mount adapter.

Out of curiosity, what kind of antenna will you be mounting on it?
