how wonderful of microsoft to enter the foray into cb radio . at least it has a blue display....no doubt in honor of the BSOD that gates and company made so common place that theyre expected from time to time . ill pass on blue tooth on my cb . if i want a wireless headset ill buy one for it at a reasonable price and not let the boys in redmond double the price of a radio to further fatten the billionairs pockets .
Ahh yes the good ole days when uniden was making the Cobra in the phillipines. That was good quality by the crap that is sold today. Look at what happened to the 148's as well. Oh wait that PCB said Uniden as well. Now the Cobra 148 is made by Ranger. POS

I think they are trying to find a way to get through the new wave of hands-free laws showing up across the country.
CHP told me ,as far as they knew , cb radios didn't apply to these new laws in California. As far as Blue tooths are concerned , those aren't much better then having a phone at the side of your head. I don't see where a persons reactions from using a blue tooth will make much differents concerning driving safety other then being able to have two hands on the wheel , it still will take concentration away from the driver. Hands free is one thing , blue tooths are another , and unfortunately , how many people will have to die before they figure that out and band anything on ones side of there heads ? I personally do not like using the cell phone when IM driving , it is nothing like the cb radio when IM hearing the voices in front of me rather then directly into my ear hole , it tends to screw with my equal liberum as would a blue tooth. Thats basically what the cop had said to me , having something in your ear and driving takes away from the concentrating mind on the road as well as having something to do perefreal vision and reflexes. Cobra 29 with a bluetooth ? Remarkable ! So be it ! There's been to many times over the years where Iv'e been almost hit or run of the road from cell phone users not paying attention to the road and others around them. Cell Phones and there users Kill people ! Period !
