This feature on the new Cobra 29 LX is nice, I cruse back roads while at work. Hit scan with squelch tuned properly and met some nice people while mobil..... Anybody else use scan while mobil..

I'll use it on my 2510 when the air is dead and I'm looking for activity. I also use it when I hear bleed over but every time I try to find them, they have stopped transmitting.

I have worked Graveyard shift for 23 years now, I love Magnum radio's that scan. The 257's, Delta Force, and Omega Force.

My first radio with scan, and it is a nice feature. Scan while driveing finding bleadover etc. I like this new Cobra 29-LX and was going to have variable Power installed next. I don't find much use for the Delta tune and was going to see if that control can be used for Variable power? so far the delta tune is best if I leave it at 12:00 o'clock. If it's not in the center I may be better off with a seperate control.

I only have one radio with scan. I dont use the radio very much but I do find the scan feature to be useful to find a decent convo across the band. I am really surprised they didnt come out with this feature years ago. Would be nice.to find a compact radio with scan.
