JeepRider, If you use the USPS if it fits it ships boxes the cost is under $8.00.
I would not worry about the receive boost on the small amps since they are untuned receive and amplify everything including noise. To be honest I have only seen one receive boost actually work the way it should. It was some thing that a friend built with parts from a radio and had a channel selector built in. If he changed channels he had to change that one as well. Worked great and really pulled the weak channels out of the mud. We put our radios up side by side with the same antenna and he always could pull up signals I could not hear. The one I would send you will have that feature working. As 22DBFL stated we have met in person and we had dinner at a good steak house here in Louisville with my wife. I consider him a friend and he knows my bench is always open for his use. I have good quality equipment all calibrated and I don't let just anybody sit in the in the lab. I won't even allow a person that has no training walk into it either.
