cb to 10 meters conversion

Any good conversions from cb to 10 meters either in ssb or fm. I remember when the wireman did cb radios and converted to 10 meters for fm, time about 10 minutes. He and his buddies did thousands of them back in the 70's.

The 10 meter radios which one converts to 11, have fm but I dont believe many have the repeater off set.

Can it be done? Sure. Save yourself some time and effort, don't bother, it just isn't worth the trouble. If you want to do AM, it probably would be worth the effort, maybe. Anything else and it just won't have the quality. (Oh I'll catch it for saying that! Doesn't matter, it's still the truth.)

Yeah it's hardly worth the time and trouble here and now in our vast land of ready-to-use export type radios. And you can get one cheap! See them selling here for $75-85 bucks. You'll have all the freqs and more features than the 4-12 watt CB.

Useless mod for 10 meter. Dose not get into the phone portion. Of course if you a trucker looking to hear from Laura, 28.085 is high enough. LOL
