Question about this, Obviously its a copy... I just want to use it as a RX antenna on a Scanner for: 110,144,222,330,450MHz's would or will it work?

Not much to comment on really. No, I mean that. There is not much there at all. What? Two inches long? It should work as good as a piece of wet spaghetti as long as it is salt water that keeps the spaghetti wet. You really do have a fetish for small antennas.

NEWS FLASH: Performance is directly related to size. Bigger antennas give better results. Small puny antennas really, really suck.

I already have a whole grip of ht antennas. From 60" through 15" which is the shortest and its works ight. Just noticed all the rave on eham so i figured give it a try for RX I dont expect much for TX.

I have one of the stubby antennas on one of my alinco DJ-V5 and its ok for local or use with a scanner at a race track like the ones they sell like this strictly for listening to drivers and pit crews on scanners at the race tracks .

They are what they are and as C.K. said the bigger the antenna the better but with that being said I also understand that sometimes we have to or can only use what is practical.

Oi! Got the antenna today, it has to be a authentic
diamond....for $9.95

It works okay not as good as my jth2 or srh320a but it does receive OK. Great for putting on ht while in shirt pocket. Rx just fine on bands stated on package. Tx sucks bullocks.
