It’s been awhile , 250 watt linear in line fuse at battery or circuit breaker? If you use nothing what would or could happen. Thanks guys.

Fuse. It's cheap and blows fast. If you don't use one you may never have an issue or you could set your car on fire.

Thanks , 30 amp ? It’s a small amp 250 pep

30 should be good for 250 pep. 250 carrier would probably blow it. Be sure your wiring is sized properly for a 30 amp circuit. There are charts online for automotive wiring. They give you the recommended size based on the lenght of the wires and the size if the fuse.

Yeah , I have had Connex 4600 and many many amps to battery never used anything never had a problem knock on wood.

I'll bet you beat hornet nests and close your eyes before crossing the street too.

I've been in it since 1977 and have always used a fuse. Then again being an electronics tech I have seen more than my share of what happens when people don't. It only takes ONCE to have something go wrong especially a chafed wire going thru the firewall. I have seen car fires because of that. One guy had auxiliary driving lights and no fuse at the battery. His year-old Jeep was a total loss. I haven't had a house fire yet either but I still carry insurance for it. Whatever floats your boat but you are playing with fire. Literally.
