They are not available to be purchased yet. Cobra will be releasing a Service Manual in july for these.

i see you are correct, i got a little jumpy when i seen this

Availability: Usually ships the next business day.

CBR200GTLDX Regular price: $269.95 S&J's Price: $212.84

a big power radio for cheap, gotta get me one to test out

Boy, how typical is that?

Radio available now, service data in 2 or 3 months.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Rewind to 1989 or 1990. Waited about 4 months for the HR-2510 service manual, AFTER they shipped radios to all their dealers.

Kept saying their crudely-photocopied service "manual" was back-ordered.

Probably no chance they'll make use of new-fangled "Information Technology" to speed this up.

I see a headline, in bold type: "New Product launched with much publicity and balllyhoo. Information vacuum follows closely behind."

Anybody know how much surface-mount tech is inside these?

Same song, next verse.
