Update ! I couldn't wait so pulled the wood cab. this morning and found a sheet metal cover under it with just a few round hole in the back. Nothing to warrant the wood cab. having a ventilation screen in it. Does this indicate one of the earlier 2000 GTL models before they discovered they needed ventilation ? How about Cobra's serial # system does that tell you about the year of manufacture. I'm going to let it run all day and see how much heat is generated. Right now the radio room is cool because of morning.
