Cobra 2000GTL No receive

I have a 2000gtl radio with no receive all I hear is static.
Radio transmits on am and ssb great.
also has an fm board which works ok.

If i put a radio close to 2000 I can hear and meter will move.
So there is no receive amplification
Also if I plug in a speaker in pa jack and switch to pa and key up nothing (dont really care) about pa, switch back to radio and no receive static is there. Could be the Jack in back

I will check
Check D12, D13, D14, D15, and D16,

I will try to unsolder one end of D68 and check to see if the RX is any better

replacing TR14 (2SC1674L). also

Any other suggestions welcomed

Are the Xtra channel mods done through a knob on the front ? Or did the use Pa/Anl switches ? Just grasping @ straws ?

The channel switch is fine the 2000 transmits fine dead on frequency just no receive.
It will show a signal if I key up a dummy load radio and will show a signal just not any receive just a bit of static and very little meter movement

FM board?

Seems to me that those are installed in line with the AM receive section, so you switch off AM receive when you flip the FM switch.

Simplest likely explanation would be trouble with the FM adapter installation or wiring, or switch.
