Need help, i added a super swing kit it works fine then i did a mod for more power as per instructions online, change r58(10 ohm) to a 2.7 ohm, change r123(1 ohm) to a .47 ohm. Then retune l14,l13,l12 for max swing. Now i have no recieve and my needle on meter dont move. But i still can hear modulation in my talkback. and when i use a 2nd cb set to listen i dont hear anything. Thanks all #15.

TR 23 is hot when i touch??? replaced TR 23 and the problem is its still hot??? any idea why?? No one??
Do you have PA?
Its possible that the audio IC is gone..... but check the PA by hooking up a speaker and see if you get any audio out. If you have good audio power, the audio IC is OK.
Check the work you did on coil L14... its at that point that the recieve input comes into the radio.
Also check if you have voltage at the final... check for voltage at the trace where jp36 and L15 go to... thats what supplies voltage to the final.
This power comes from the audio IC with the mic audio. When your in RX mode the rx audio goes to this IC as well then to the speaker.... the IC is shared for both TX audio and rx audio.
Rule the audio IC out.... check for voltage at the final ( L15). Make sure you have continuaty between the antenna jack and coil L14... that line is used by both RX and TX power.

Put it all back to the way it was before you got started and see if it works ? either that , look for solder bridge you may have done accedently ? I never have seen any extra out of 29 changing those parts unless a 1969 final and 2314 driver were added. And what Bushwacker said.
Yes i have audio out of my PA speaker and it loud. I will check for voltage. And if that checks out i will put it back the way it was. All my solder joints check out fine. Thanks again will keep posted. #15 in Cali.
