Thanks for the response. I used a workman Roger beep. I installed the button on the hot wire but that killed all my audio all together I tried the ground but that left it buzzing. Process of elimination leaves only the white and the green wire so it has to be one of them. I was busy setting up an I max 2000 today so I didn't have much time to item the radio to tell you what ponds these connect to and I forget. I do remember disconnecting a wire or 2 from the mic plug and connecting them to the terminals on the r.b. board,  maybe tx and rx if I remember. I'll have to look it up to tell you exactly. I really appreciate you trying to help out and hope you can guide me in the right direction.
