Cobra CA-74 to Grant XL

I'm wiring a Cobra CA-74, four pin power mic to a Grant XL. I know I need a five pin connector for the Cobra mic, I just want to be sure of the correct wiring....

Pretty sure that the chassis wiring of the Grant has pin four and pin two are the same but for a inductor on pin two.

Many power mic connections to the Cobra 148GTL omit pin two, if they are four wire.

My question is should I not use pin 2 or tie it with pin four?

I dont think you have to use it or tie it together Ill have to dig out my wiring book to double check but I know I never tied any 2 pins together.
