Having some TX issues...

Would you guys please have a look?

I put up a page to explain the problem and put up a pic as well.

Do you have another radio you can hook up? If so listen to the 3300 and see if it xmits in the same room and if you have audio and carrier. If the other radio rcieves these both i'd try to replace C166 in the final antenna area. It is a 102 (1000 pf) cap. this may not be it but its worth a try.

That is the kind of info I am lookin for.

However.. before I do that, let me give you a bit more info
based on your idea.

I use a hand held next to my work bench to help test radios.
It has an LED signal meter.

When the Connex is keyed and the mic spoken into, the
LED's swing wide open on my test radio but no sound
and output from the radio. I HAVE tried other mic's as
well.

Also, I have one of those small dummy loads that simply uses
a light bulb to indicate output.

With the Connex, the light DOES NOT light up. But I still get
the LED signal meter swing on the other radio when I key the
Connex mic.

PS - TX indicator DOES light up on front of radio when mic is keyed.
