I have a Connex 3300 that a friend brought over that has a case of FM. Picture this, radio sit's in the truck all night and gets cold. Morning rolls around, turn it on and it lights up but wont receive or transmit. OK, leave it on and give it an hour to warm up and it works fine. I know it's a solder joint or similar but does anyone have a direct answer from experience? I'm gonna do some more snooping around, already resoldered the obvious. Any suggestions will be looked into.

Can be, also check the VCO to make sure it's staying in lock, the VCO in these radios can be very unstable.
