ok well I replaced my control pots with "Bourns Potentiometers" mic gain, RF gain and clarifier" because I can wiggle them up and down side to side. The new ones where nice and tight well that was till I took my radio in to have it peaked and tuned.. he sprayed some cleaner in to them and now they are just as bad as my old ones!!! is there a way I can tighten them back up???

This is typical of every time I take any thing to get worked on I get it back and some thing is not right f^$*#d up some how. 1 more reason for me to just spend the money and get all the tools I need to do this my self.

Any how he did do a good job of tuning and aligning the radio I am just kind of pissed, the 3 pots I put in are now no better than the ones I took out... but it is just the 3 I replaced so I don't want to jump up and scream at him as it may be the fault of the brand of controls I used not using compatible or cheep plastic. I don't like to point fingers unless I know there 100% at fault. he used a common knob cleaner "DeoxIT" I have head of it befor and I was going to get some..

It might be the knobs are loose. I always use a small flat head screwdriver to widen the piece, and the knob fits tight. If the grease is all gone, ask Bourns what they recommend and lube them back up with it. And smack your tech upside the head.
