But for 10 meter monoband radios being better on AM than CB, no advantage.
CB's are not all crap, they made some really cool CB's over the years.

but a cheap cb will preform awesome with a good antenna and a good cb will preform poor with a bad antenna.
you should spend more on your antenna than radio, think wilson 1000/5000, lil-wil, 4' or longer firestick, francis, K40 or if you can bear it, 102" whip.
