Copper Electronics

Right I was wondering myself. Had a box in my cart, got called to work for 20 hours came back and everything was gone. Oh well. I really didn't need it but just wanted it. They were sold out of almost everything Maybe they stopped or got a visit. We'll see Time will tell but the place is under new ownership.
Maybe I'll go over there and buy a Dosy and an A99 to help keep them in business.
There's been a run on radio stuff like the 70s and 80s with all this covid stuff . one tech said he sold 25 new ranger 69vhp base in a couple days. Yeah he sold out the next day

I just got their New Catalog a month ago . It had & insert in it but all were Texas Star Amps . So they must still have them ? But on the " Down Low " . Must say I didn't care for the $$$ !:LOL: Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless ! Leo

I’ve only purchased from Copper twice, but have no complaints with their service.

It seems lots of folks were short on Texasstar amps this spring..whether that was a supply shortage, or the influx of Coronavirus money...I don’t know.

As far as Copper pulling the plug in amps, I always thought the “CW transmitter” schtick would only last so long. Lol.

I had been buying from copper for 20+ years. Bought a dosy meter (yeah i know) and it wasnt correct from the factory and not as advertised so i asked to return it and was told NO i had to send it to dosy at my expense. I told copper that was unacceptable and was told too bad. So since i paid with paypal i opened a case and 3 days later copper decided to take the meter back and refund my money. Suzanne who is supposed to be customer service is a bitch to talk to.
Its Bells from now on.
