Hi Everyone, as some of you know I picked up a CPI 300 recently and was going to do a video on it, but through chance I actually turned that project into a video with one of the original founders of the company who I did a short history interview with to try to capture some information from the guy who designed the radios.

I'm doing editing now but would love to add some pictures/video to the interview to go along with what he's talking about so I'm asking from help from anyone on the forum who may have these products.

If you have photos/video or the ability to take photos/video of your CPI radios/products and share them with me for the video that would be amazing. Specifically - high quality image/video shots of the front/back of the equipment and if possible any shots of the board. Need HQ non blurry images and HD non-shaky video otherwise I can't use it.

Would love photos/video for the following -

Palomar Digicom 100
CPI 400
CPI 2000
CPI 2500

And any and all accessories :)

(Don't need CPI 300, FC 60, or CPI 300/400 power supply as I have those in front of me).

I also would love to have any high quality scanned ads from old magazines etc

Message me if you are able to help! Thank you!

Members have stepped up!

I think I've got photos and videos coming from people for everything except for a CPI 400. If anyone has one of those that's the last need :)

Thank you everyone. This video is going to be really cool, it's like stepping back in time and the engineer gave some really cool information about CPI. I may have to break it into two videos as we talked for an hour.

Looking forward to the vid.
Thanks to everyone.

It was amazing listening to the story, hope everyone will enjoy it. The man talking is just such a smart guy so as a CB radio hobbyist it is really captivating.

Next question.

It's about 50 minutes long - should I break it up into part 1 and part 2 at 25 mins each?

Not sure if people would rather watch the whole thing or have it in shorter sections.

Hi everyone- I haven’t made it public yet but here’s the interview so forum members get a sneak peek.

Only problem was some crackling audio but as CBers we should be used to that :)

if you like it please leave a positive comment on YouTube for Dave it was really awesome of him to share his story with us!
