I have a CPI Range Plus that the transformer has went bad. The range plus has a pretty hefty transformer in it. I am just figuring I will do away with the transformer and run this off a wall wart. I think that is what they are called. Plug in power supply. Does anyone have a idea of how many amps this will draw at 12V? Basically I am not sure what size to get.

Thanks Mike. .375 amps would I be safe with 1 Amp?
Your math is correct. I would think 1A would provide sufficient head room. Any of those 12v/1A wall transformers that you can get on eBay would probably be the cheapest route. I would check the circuit or schematic to see where those 12v connections on the back go to. Any further regulation or fuse?
