YES!

Yes by all means Used is worth the Gamble if it is not a Large amount invested....The BEST Radios I have ever bought were sight un-seen! I have a Voyage Export that is one of the best if not the best talking radio in the car/truck I have ever owned and I have had a number of 'em over the past 40 years. This thing will swing to nearly 50 with NO HELP!I talk DX and skip (SSB and AM) ...I have less than a Bill in it...a $300.00 Radio if new (IF a mew one can be found), The only problems I've had is the solder joints are breaking lose and I've had to re-heat/re-solder a few in the past year. Mainly due to 12-15 yr vibration before I got it. I've had it about 4 months. I've bought several "president" Radios over the years since they began making them. One of the best I ever owned was a "Plain Jane" Zachary T...I "Talked" all over North and South America with that thing with a JB 12 and NOTHING MORE! So yes...there are some good deals on some good radios out there and some that are junk too...Just ask questions and pay close attention to how your questions are answered...you can usually get a feel of a guys honesty and knowledge by just the way he talks to you.
