1. Why is there a large blank gap on my chart from 220Mhz through 222MHz?

2. None of my radios are capable of transmitting CW but I was curious is it possible to use the DTMF as a key for CW? I was playing around earlier today on 144.0MHz and had one radio for receive and one transmitting CW using my DTMF keypad and tho it isn't practical I found it quiet readable...
