The only information I can find on the Maverick is it schematic. I'm trying to find out the shipping weight a Maverick. The manual for my Phantom states that it weighs 48 lb. Considering there is one more transformer in the Phantom than there is in the Maverick, and the few more components, on top of the larger housing I know the Maverick can't weigh 50 lb. Someone selling a Maverick, and trying to work out a fair shipping price stated he believes the Maverick to weigh about 50 lb. He's obviously incorrect. I guess my question should be does anyone know within a few pounds what the gray d&a Maverick weighs? I don't know why this is so damn difficult! I ship everything UPS $25 2 day ground. And that included shipping my 48lb Phantom.

Believe me , I know shipping weight is not your problem ! I'd pay the $ if they got it back to me in one piece ! I've shipped & amp to Nc for repair , he did & awesome job ! Amp worked when I got it back , but box looked like they dragged it here ! Ever see anything on TV how those boxes hit the run-off chutes to decide what part of the country they go too ? The boxes need a Haughn's collar ! Just saying !;):LOL: Fins on my heat sink were bent to :censored: !

I've always thought ups did a great job. I've never had a piece of equipment, or even the shipping box get to its destination, or back to me looking any different then it was packed for shipping. Maybe I just been lucky. I have heard and saw pictures of other boxes and pieces of equipment that were either slightly dented, or even worse the contents totally destroyed (during shipping.) I'm going to stick with UPS as far as my shipping preference, but I can't control what a seller uses, or is going to use as their shipping company (I could only suggestI.) The amplifier I'm interested in is coming from Modesto California. And shipping to New Jersey. I used the UPS shipping calculator website, and the seller did whigh the amplifier. It's 33 lb, and another 3 lb for shipping materials. The calculator came up with a shipping price of $84.88. In my opinion that's pretty high. As I mentioned in my previous post it is a best offer auction. That kind of leaves me some space, in order to makeup for that high shipping price. I'm still on the fence about making an offer. The amp is in superb cosmetic, and from what I could tell by the photos electronic condition. Everything looks new. In my opinion that's a sign that the amplifier was treated well, or has led a pampered life. It most likely was stored properly, and not used that often for a long time. I really wish somebody would already go ahead and pull the trigger on it. I have so many other bills that are more important, but the amp looks so nice and I'd really like to own it. 73 PS. Asking price is $316, and shipping is $100. I sent the seller s message stating that if he guaranteed a shipping price of $84.88 (maximum,) I would go ahead and make him an offer that I think is fair. I also stated in the message that it's in the end obviously up to him whether or not to accept my offer.
