Thanks for posting the pics,
It seems the single tube is for the CW gimmick to try and make the amp legal for sale, looks like the green wire goes to the crystal socket on the front of the amp.
it may be required for filament voltage purposes.
For all purposes the tube is NOT any part of the amplifier circuit except for filament voltage.
