Nothing new, just in the last five or six years it's coming to light and people or news agencies are exorcising their constitutional rights to search these government data bases for public information and then sharing it with it's viewers.

I'm not a big fan of posting information about someone that has simply been accused of something. Now as soon as they plead/are found guilty that's another story. The beginning of 24 hour instant access to information from cable news and later the internet is going to be the demise of us all.



Note that I'm speaking in general terms and find the priest abuse cases disgusting.

I am of the same ideology as you GLR but it's the sensation of this type of reporting that generates higher viewer ratings and is driven buy retailers who choose to use networks with these higher ratings to advertise their products, I know you're thinking what does advertising have to do with any of this? well they pay to advertise and this keeps these shit stirring mongrels in business.
