Here's a nice photo of me doing surgery on the meter I love how diamond uses a odd bulb. No worries tho I have a few bulbs that'll work.

Fail...

I only see a disassembled meter.
Not done! lol of course its a fail, After i find a suitable bulb in my "hoarding room" replacement ill be set to go.
Right now i am not getting a ZERO voltage reading on the output of the connections where the bulb sits (using a home-brew wallwart) need to dig through my plugs to find one with the proper inner pin size.

Actually those bulbs are not odd. They have been used in meters for decades. Usually found in higher end meters especially in high end audio consoles like used in broadcasting. I used to find them in all the McCurdy and Ward-Beck audio consoles as well as in Studer and Revox reel-reel to machines. Because of their shape they give a more uniform distribution of light across the meter face with no hot spots.

Would you know the name of the company who make's this bulb or an alternative one to purchase? would rather not go LED. I actually like incandescent bulbs.
