The radio isn't a problem, though you will likely find you drift all over compared to using an HF rig.  A ham can modify whatever they like for use on amateur bands as long as it meets the requirements for signal purity.


The amp is a problem though....you could at most use that for FM repeaters on 10m if you are a General or better, but that's it.  That amp is not biased up, nor filtered enough to run on the ham bands and will splatter all over.  Due to lack of filtering, I wouldn't really say it will be clean enough for FM use either.


A 2510 would be better for 10m SSB use, more stable and have finer tuning control.
