Here we go again....................
YUP! No blatant support for Fine-Tune CB shop in this thread is there?
None at all.....
Are you supposed to hit a 1x4 with a radio with that large a heatsink on it ??? Wouldn't a 2 > 4 watt deadkey radio be more appropriate?
Nope, but I get a distinct vibe from "someone" when they explain it "their way"; it's like NO ONE ELSE knows how to correctly align a radio anymore. I better PAY-ATTENTION, TAP TAP TAP... & GO TO Mine-Tune, I typed "mine" for a reason..
It all depends on whether or not the two techs are on the same or opposite sides of the equator.

Rabbi, I know why people think you are Mark; because you "shill" for him all the time. (undeniably)
I don't see Fine-Tune doing any tube gear.. (what's referenced in the original post..)
Anyway, to get this thread on track..
What about a "worn-out" or "failing" tube can make you sound like Donald the Duck?
Sorry, it just pre-dates my era. If the tube tests good, and has not gone "microphonic"; is it reduced gain that causes issues, some how distortion increases I'm thinking, but unsure about the technology.
I'd be happy to see other technicians demonstrating on video what they can do instead of just talking about it without showing anything.i would be happy to not see any more fine tune videos ever
In Time, it'll take a few years.I'd be happy to see other technicians demonstrating on video what they can do instead of just talking about it without showing anything.
